Stratis Monthly – September

Summer may be cooling down as September knocks at the door, but things have been heating up on the Stratis blockchain. Developers have been working tirelessly to create new and exciting features and bug fixes across games, as well as our proprietary app and service. Meanwhile, Ticketsphere continues to capture the attention of landmark venues. It’s time to reflect on this great month for developers everywhere working on the Stratis blockchain.

Corgi Dash

It is with great excitement that we can finally announce that the final version of Corgi Dash has been completed and submitted to Google Play. In the run-up to the global release of Corgi Dash, developers have been working hard on new and exciting features. These new features were designed to make the game more enjoyable for NFT natives and casual players alike while continuing to increase the value of the game. Progress can now be stored using Google logins, while 12 Google Play achievements have been added to the game. With in-game coins, players also have the opportunity to buy accessories and dress up their corgis.

Dawn of Ships update

Dawn of Ships developers have had a busy month, responding to the community feedback while new features have been built and old issues resolved.

Dawn of Ships is transferring their server to a private dedicated version to enhance security for players and prevent data from being leaked or stolen by third parties.

There has also been some significant troubleshooting — at the beginning of the month, Dawn of Ships successfully applied a hotfix patch to resolve issues with the leaderboard. Before the patch, OVIA earned through Ambush was not added to the leaderboard in the game. In the latest version, developers have also fixed the “sailing into the void” bug.

All the while, the new features launched in July are up and running with great success, including and not limited to Ambush mode, purchasing gold with OVIA and of course, the leader board displaying the top 10 active plunder and ambush missions.

You can play Dawn of Ships now on your Windows PC by downloading and running the game from here: https://github.com/obikhajj/Dawn-of-Ships-Release-Builds/releases/tag/v1.2.1

Ticketsphere

The background work on Ticketsphere’s operability has reached completion and is ready for use. The Ticketsphere project was a significant undertaking, as it sought to resolve issues in the ticketing industry and revolutionise how we use and understand tickets.

The Ticketsphere app allows for convenient and secure ticketing, including unique perks like collectibles that sit alongside the NFT tickets. The app also offers revolutionary ticketing solutions for event organisers, as it is a fraud-reducing and eco-friendly way to implement non-custodial ownership through NFT tickets. The fraud-prevention and secure features set NFT tickets apart from conventional tickets, while promising to address the biggest problems experienced by event goers and event organisers alike.

Ticketsphere is visible on our site for anyone eager to experience at the future of ticketing.

We are now in talks with venues, so keep an eye out for event announcements so you can be amongst the first to use our NFT tickets.

Stratis Monthly – August

August marks the last triumphant month of summer before we start to settle in for autumn. For those not enjoying the sun or off on holiday, its time to review the achievements of the developers working on the Stratis Platform over the last month.

Cross game NFTs come to Corgi Dash and Dawn of Ships

The Dawn of Ships (DoS) and Corgi Dash cross-game NFT feature is live. Players can now use their Corgi Dash NFTs in DoS to get a plunder bonus, means ships that have a Corgi NFT as part of their crew can earn more. Cross-game NFTs could offer the platform to make a unified gaming ecosystem across games, which otherwise would have very little in common. The teams at DoS and Corgi Dash are excited to see the uptake on this collaboration, as are we.

Dawn of Ships update

Along with the cross-game NFTs, Dawn of Ships (DoS) has also released an exciting update. DoS has added a new section to the main menu that shows the top 10 active plunder and ambush missions, offering players a new way to see the global community playing the game and aspire to be a part of it.

The new update also officially introduces Ambush mode — an exciting new game feature that allows players to disrupt, attack, loot the plunder missions of other players.

Finally, the update offers a new feature that enables players to purchase gold using OVIA. This makes in-game gold purchases easier to purchase and the internal economy more immersive.

Ticketsphere

Ticketsphere has officially opened its doors to the public, enabling anyone to access to its enhanced features and seamless operability. The app allows for convenient and secure ticketing, including unique perks like collectibles that sit alongside the NFT tickets. The app also offers revolutionary ticketing solutions for event organisers, as it is a fraud-reducing and eco-friendly way to implement non-custodial ownership through NFT tickets.

We are now in talks with venues, so keep an eye out for event announcements so you can be one of the first to use our NFT tickets.

Stratis DevEx

Stratis DevEx is a project dedicated to making smart contracts and programming on the Stratis blockchain as simple as possible. We want to ensure the Stratis blockchain is to continue to thrive and prosper.

The team has recently released some videos explaining work on the Stratis blockchain. One is on browsing the Opdex smart contract repository and the other looks at running the Stratis DevEx GUI on Linux. If you’re a programmer who is interested in working on the Stratis blockchain we recommend giving them a watch.

Stratis Monthly – July

Schools are out, the USA is celebrating, and airports are full with jolly holiday goers, that can only mean one thing- July has come. For the Stratis community, that means we get another chance to review the achievements and work of the last month.

Stratis unveils Project Atlantis

Our first announcement is a big one. We at Stratis have announced the exciting development of a new game: Project Atlantis.

Project Atlantis will be a city-building game based in a sci-fi world. Video games with a science fiction theme are consistently among the most eagerly awaited and sought-after titles each year. This includes both high-profile AAA releases from leading studios and publishers, as well as more niche offerings from independent developers striving to make a unique impact on the genre.

In Project Atlantis, every player will play on the same server, with each player beginning in a colony with tiny structures and its own resources, military and markets. As the game develops colonies expand and compete for supremacy. Political interactions add an engaging layer to the game with players having to compete and collaborate with other colonies through espionage, trade and war.

We wanted to add real stakes to the game. We had a vision of a city builder that utilises in-game currency to give the time spent playing a real-world value. That’s why we utilised the Cirrus blockchain to add an additional element of reality. This means that the time you spend in game has real value, giving you the ability to trade and swap the in-game currency for real world money.

However, our dedicated team of elite gaming developers have gone even further. We are implementing AI through LLMs to allow for cutting-edge hyper-realistic conversations with NPCs in newly discovered cities. It will also allow for unique terrain creation, character creation, atmospheric music and artefacts.

Corgi Dash promises innovative cross-game NFTs and infinite game mode

Corgi Dash is a Mario Run-inspired game in which players attempt to run all the way to the Corgi house and win NFTs. Corgi Dash has been teasing the release of infinite mode, a game mode that allows players to play infinite levels. This gives the game more replay value and means the fun can keep on going. The team has also been hard at work improving the game’s animations for a more immersive playing experience.

Corgi Dash have also released some information about their hotly anticipated cross-game NFTs with Dawn of Ships. When used in Dawn of Ships, Corgi Dash NFTS will give a plunder GOLD bonus of 1.25% bonus for each NFT used as part of your crew. These cross-game NFTs will be implemented in the next Dawn of Ships update.

Cross-game NFTs are yet to be introduced in web3 games and Stratis will be one of the first blockchains to showcase them. Cross-game NFTs will offer players an integrated gaming experience and encourage users to try new games. It encourages players to play more without the stale repetitiveness that comes with ‘grinding’ on the same game- an experience most gamers are all too familiar with. Cross-game NFTs very well may be a big part of the future of gaming, and we are excited to see it in action.

My XR world releases Beta 6

My XR World allows players to create and socialise in their own personalised space in the metaverse. They have released their Beta 6 version, which the team tells us to consider the ‘director’s cut’ (or in this case really the ‘developer’s build’) for the full game. This is because while refining will still need to take place on the UI before it can be called complete, the metaverse experience is now fully functional.

Getting to this point required significant changes. They have moved away from Playfab as the user management console and partnered with Loot Locker for stronger monetization support. This means you can now publish incredible curations of work into your own personal gallery and truly call it your own.

This means you can hop onto your PC and in just a few clicks create your own VR space and interact with friends. So why not do so? Contact the team if you want to learn more [email protected]

DoS updates

The team at Dawn of Ships has been hard at work over the last month or so working on new features. The developers of the swashbuckling P2E Web3 game powered by the Stratis blockchain are still hard at work on the new ambushing feature. This feature will allow you to strategically loot the plunder missions of other players. They are also working to introduce a feature that allows you to purchase gold using OVIA. This will make it easier to buy gold, in turn making gameplay more convenient

The other big update is the collaborative work with Corgi Dash on cross game NFTs. Do keep an eye out for the next update to put your Corgi Dash NFTs to use in Dawn of Ships to gain some extra gold!

Stratis Monthly – June

For many, June means the start of summer and vacation season, a perfect time to go over the achievements from across the Stratis ecosystem from the last month.

20th May Meet-up

May saw another Stratis meet-up at the Tower Suites in central London. Sunnier than the last few meet-ups and located on the rooftop terrace, it was a happy occasion which allowed community members to connect and share what they have been working on over the last few months.

Stratis co-founder, Krushang Patel, presented at the most recent meet-up, talking about the Stratis ecosystem—a huge thank you to all attendees.

Dawn of Ships updated

Those keeping up to date with the Stratis community will be well aware of the progress of Dawn of Ships. Late April saw the open beta release, which has opened the game to a much wider audience. For those of you who haven’t had a chance to try the game, Dawn of Ships is an idle RPG game that allows players to engage in plundering missions and ambushes to earn utility NFTs and other prizes.

Dawn of Ships has released a new version, V1.1.4, mainly consisting of bug fixes. This will help to optimize the playing experience further. Dawn of Ships has made a point to thank everyone for their feedback, which is key to offering continued improvements to the game.

Dawn of Ships also intends to allow players to opt out of ambush missions to avoid getting ambushed. For more information on the ambush system and other game features, read their whitepaper: https://astroverseclub.medium.com/dawn-of-ships-gdd-whitepaper-2fa835729e21

Corgi Dash game changes and cross-game NFTs

Corgi Dash is a Mario Run-inspired game that is available to play on PC and WebGL. Corgi Dash has announced some game changes, including an infinite game mode. Infinite game mode allows users to play endless levels. This promises non-stop fun for the Corgi Dash players!

Following US regulatory advice, the game will transition from a P2E structure to a P2O structure. While important, the game still promises to remain engaging, and the Stratis blockchain remains central.

In another exciting development, Stratis plans to introduce cross-game NFTs. With this change, Corgi Dash NFT holders can use their NFT in Dawn of Ships. Expect a more integrated Stratis ecosystem and gaming experience, meaning there has never been a better time to get your Corgi Dash NFTs.

File Protected approaching launch

A recent announcement from FileProtected suggests they are approaching launch.  FileProtected is an NFT marketplace that gives creators more control of their intellectual property, hoping to increase trust in the creative process. It does so through a content registration service that uses blockchain, timestamps, and digital fingerprints to secure copyright ownership. Buyers and sellers can work directly with each other, meaning fewer intermediaries, creating a marketplace where everyone can trust the integrity of assets.

Some features being launched include licensing and marketplace features for easy transactions. Other improvements include the code, UI, and ‘simple legal’ feature. ‘Simple legal’ allows users to easily copyright and monetize their assets. A new feature will also enable users to link their sales channels (NFT, print sales, agent, etc.).

Much work has gone on in the background at FileProtected, and we look forward to the launch.

Ticketsphere approaches release

Earlier this year, Stratis announced they would release a next-generation ticketing platform, Ticketsphere. The deployment of NFT ticketing services promises to reduce fraud and improve the ticketing experience. Ticketsphere will allow organizers to issue tickets as NFTs, which can be paid for in FIAT currency.

NFTs will benefit ticker holders as it is a definitive and secure proof of ownership, allowing more control over the exchange and resale of tickets. It will also benefit artists who can now keep track of ownership and prevent extortionate resales, or at least earn royalties on any resales which occur. Historically ticketing providers have also taken extortionate cuts of ticket sales, losing artists and fans money. Therefore, Ticketsphere promises to disrupt and optimize the ticketing space.

We have been working hard on Ticketsphere’s official release, which is getting closer by the day. To keep up to date with the release and other updates, follow Ticketsphere on Twitter: https://twitter.com/Ticketsphere_

Stratis Monthly – May

For many, the month of May is when summer stops being a dream and starts to become a reality. So as we pass Easter and roll into summer, we want to take this opportunity to look back at April and celebrate some achievements from across the Stratis community.

STRAX listed on KuCoin

April saw STRAX, the cryptocurrency linked to the Stratis blockchain, listed on KuCoin. The Stratis blockchain runs a proof of authority mechanism, which makes it more sustainable than major blockchains. This means STRAX is better for the environment than most. KuCoin is a secure cryptocurrency exchange that allows the trading of most major cryptocurrencies. STRAX being available on KuCoin is an important step in making STRAX more widely available for digital purchases and trading.

Do check it out for yourself on KuCoin: https://www.kucoin.com

Dawn of Ships open beta release

Late April saw a huge milestone for Dawn of Ships as they released their open beta. Earlier in the month, Dawn of Ships released game update v1.1.0. This update included new features like a mission timer, improved UI, bug fixes and more.

Those who have read this blog will be familiar with Dawn of Ships; it is a swashbuckling idle RPG game in which players can earn tokens and use utility NFTs from the Stratis blockchain. The open beta opens the game up for all of us to try, and the changes from the most recent update will continue to make the game more functional and allow users to get more immersed in strategy and gameplay.

Play it for yourself by clicking the link below and downloading the game: https://github.com/obikhajj/Dawn-of-Ships-Release-Builds/releases/tag/v1.1.0

Hashbattle

HashBattle is a blockchain gaming platform powered by Stratis. We were thrilled to see the Hashbattle team announce that several new games, including Car Loops and Line Runner, will be added to the Hashbattle arena soon. By playing these games, players earn rewards, which are facilitated by the Stratis blockchain

This is added to Hashbattle’s already fun-packed portfolio, which includes games like Cops Clash, Hurdle Hop, Tunnel Trouble and Counting Snakes. Get playing now to earn for yourself!

Corgi Dash has had their third SDA proposal approved

Congratulations to Corgi Dash on getting their third SDA proposal approved. Corgi Dash is an action-packed play-to-earn game on the Stratis blockchain. The game sees players attempt to make the dash to the apex of the Corgi House.

We look forward to seeing the funds used to improve the game further.

Stratis Monthly – April

April derives from the Latin term ‘to open’ — referring to flowers fully blooming in spring. As we head into April, the last month has certainly been a time of blooming for Stratis as we’ve seen SDA proposals, events, releases, and lots of development. Please read below for a recap of where we now stand as April begins.

My XR World

The My XR World team has been working hard on some exciting new functions, implementing an add friends feature, which allows users to invite their buddies and visit their worlds easily. Making My XR World a functional social space for users is an essential step in the development of the experience.

There are also several developments in the pipeline for My XR World. The team is working on implementing a tagging system that will improve the organising of digital assets and help users display them in personalised spaces. There is also work to improve the uploading of assets, including 3D, entire Unity scenes, Reddit pages and music files. There will also include tools that allow users to monetise some assets they upload.

The team are working to make the experience more immersive, including building a new UI and the ability to buy storefront space in the metaverse mall. If you want to learn more or try the Beta, contact the team in their Discord Server.

Trivia Legends

Trivia Legends has been released for more than a month and has secured 10,000 players and seen 1,400 new game wallets created. Clearly people are excited to try their hand at the innovative trivia-strategy game.

Kiqqi, the developers behind Trivia Legends, are working on several improvements in the NFT systems, including fixes to the mint scaling system and tools to ease NFT game collection management. They are also researching ways to introduce cross-game NFT characters — so do watch this space as the Kiqqi games universe could soon become interconnected. Other developments in the Kiqqi camp include work on their Question API and Database for Trivia Legends, which will allow for extensions like adding questions on the fly and multi-language translations.

Stratis Monthly – February

As February comes around we hope you all have a chance to shake off those January blues and get into the roll of 2023. Or maybe there’s no need to- as this blog shows, the last month saw some significant steps forward for the Stratis Community. So, let’s talk about the updates we saw in January:

My XR Gallery SDA

Polycarbon Games has had its third SDA proposal approved for My XR Gallery!

US-based game developers, Polycarbon Games’ My XR World is an immersive metaverse experience that allows users to buy and sell NFTs. The immersive experience also allows users to socialise with other users and display their NFTs in a personalised space- giving owners a new way to engage with their NFTs.

Since their last SDA proposal, they have put the funds to good use, using them to develop the Sky Dream mall and easier uploading of NFTs to the digital space. This SDA proposal will mean My XR Gallery can continue to develop well into the future- so be sure to watch out for updates from them on Twitter (@MyXRWorld) or check it out for yourself: https://www.myxrgallery.com

Stratis wallet updates

Stratis wallet saw some exciting new updates in January. The end of the month saw updates to the IOS and android apps, which included fixes for minor bugs and deep link redirection. This will offer users an improved experience, making holding and transferring STRAX an even smoother process.

We also saw the Stratis 1.5.1.0 wallet release. If you haven’t updated yet do so now- this update is necessary for wallet and staking features to be functional

Stratis meetups

Seeing people in person at our meetups in London has always been a highlight- and January was no different. The meetup saw a great turnout with a vibrant mix of people at Tower Suites in London. It was a delight to hear such interesting discussions on tech and Stratis at a stunning central London spot.

Stratis Monthly – December

The end of the year may be near but, for many projects across the Stratis blockchain, the action is only just beginning.

Read on for a summary of what Team Stratis has been working on this month, including an exciting new SDA adoption alert, the launch of the Stratisphere Wallet on iOS and Android, and all the latest information on Stratis’ in-person meetups in 2023.

The Stratisphere Wallet is now available on iOS and Android

The Stratisphere Wallet has landed for iOS and Android devices! This non-custodial wallet can interact with dApps on the Stratis Platform and is now available via the App Store and Google Play.

Team Stratis has been hard at work to bring the community a sustainable and accessible wallet through which users can store, buy, and send NFTs, and the launch of the Stratisphere Wallet App marks the culmination of these efforts.

You can download the app here and here to continue building your NFT collections.

SDA Adoption Alert: DevEX

Stratis is always looking out for ways to hone and streamline our tools to create the optimal user experience. The latest proposal to pass the SDA vote, DevEX, aims to do just that for smart contracts by creating a frictionless integrated interface for developing secure smart contracts using Visual Studio. Visual Studio is accessible and frequently used by enterprise developers, making it ideal for streamlining the development of smart contracts.

Security is crucial to the future of blockchain, which is why ensuring that smart contracts remain as protected against vulnerabilities as possible is so important. The voters were clearly in agreement, with the proposal receiving 125 ‘yes’ votes with 116 required.

Congratulations to Allister Beharry (@allisterbeharry) and DevEX on the successful proposal!

Stratis Meetups: Book now for January!

A highlight of 2022 has been bringing the Stratis community together in London for a series of dynamic and insightful meetups. From learning more about projects developed on the Stratis blockchain to meeting fellow blockchain creators and enthusiasts, it has been a pleasure to watch the community come together.

The popularity of the meetups continues, with the next event on 16th December already sold out. However, tickets for the first meetup of 2023 on 20th January are available on Eventbrite, along with four other dates for H1 of 2023.

You can sign up for your chosen meetup here – we look forward to seeing you at Tower Suites in the New Year!

Stratisphere Wallet Releases

The team at Stratis continue to further develop and integrate new features for their NFT Marketplace. Recent developments have seen full IPFS support, with IPFS now the default storage location for minted NFTs. For those unfamiliar with IPFS, it stands for InterPlantary File System and is a form of distributed storage. It enables files to be replicated worldwide and removes control from the creator. This enables NFTs to be stored indefinitely and not at risk of a storage owner deleting or changing the file.

It doesn’t stop at IPFS; there have been lots of new features added with the latest release with some of the highlights below:

  • Like your favourite NFTs
  • Email Notifications
  • Enhanced Profile Descriptions

In addition to the IPFS support being introduced within the existing desktop wallets, support has also been added to the new Stratipshere Mobile Wallet offerings, now available on the respective App Stores. Just search for Stratisphere Wallet!

Corgi Dash launches timeline and website

Another SDA alum, Corgi Dash, continues to make strides with the launch of its website and the reveal of a Stratis blockchain integration timeline.

The timeline suggests that Corgi Dash, a P2E game that sees players dash and dodge their way through six levels of obstacle-filled routes, will submit contracts to the Cirrus Mainnet, deploy the server, and ready the game for launch in January 2023.

You can find the newly launched Corgi Dash website here for a glimpse into the upcoming game. Get ready to earn coins and beat all six levels when the game drops in the new year.

Stratisphere NFT Art at Saatchi Gallery

As part of Stratisphere’s upcoming marketing campaign, one of the content creators we have worked with closely is British artist Hannah Nijsten. Hannah has collaborated with Stratisphere to create NFT’s of her physical art inspired by Stratis brand colours. We were thrilled to see this physical and digital art featured alongside other incredible works by Hannah at a recent exhibition at Saatchi Gallery! As the digital dimension of art continues to develop and evolve, it is an exciting time to be working with artists that apply their creativity and vision to the rich world of NFTs.

Polycarbon Blockchain Attended Metabeats

It was great to see Polycarbon Blockchain, the minds behind My XR Gallery and Sky Dream Mall, take to the floor at MetaBeat in San Francisco last month, an event designed to bring together thought leaders in the metaverse to discuss and demonstrate how technology and innovation will bring industry and commerce into the metaverse.

With MetaBeat estimating that the metaverse market will reach $800 billion by 2024, the landscape is ambitious and rapidly growing, and Stratis were delighted to support Polycarbon Blockchain as they presented their own role within the metaverse when it comes to the intersection of art, VR, and more.

To learn more about Polycarbon Blockchain, why not check out their YouTube channel here?

Public Release of CoinVault Extension Wallet

CoinVault, a non-custodial wallet that enables the management of NFTs as well as funds on the Stratis and Cirrus blockchains, recently launched the public release of its browser extension wallet to five star reviews.

CoinVault is quick and simple to set-up and use, enabling users to track and manage their assets with ease.

Stratisphere NFT Desktop Wallet Update

In November, the Stratisphere NFT desktop wallet launched version 1.3.0.0, complete with optimizations and added support for network changes to ensure seamless use for wallet holders.

Opdex Desktop Update

Opdex Desktop also added some new updates to its backlog this month. Opdex protocols are designed to offer trustless token swaps and allow for actions such as liquidity providing, mining, and staking to be conducted in a non-custodial and gas-efficient manner.

The updates to Opdex Desktop included feature improvements for version checks and update notifications, additional wallet position details, and performance improvements to ensure the platform functions optimally for all users.

Find out more here.

Stratis Monthly – October

September saw team Stratis enjoy new proposals and exciting events, and although summer is over, autumn is already shaping up to be just as interesting a season for all the community.

Keep reading for an overview of what’s new in the Stratis community.

Corgi Dash passed its second SDA proposal

Congratulations to the Corgi Dash team for passing their second SDA proposal!

The proposal requested 135,000 CRS ($70,000 USD) to complete game development and integrate smart contracts, NFTs and the SDK platform into the game.

Corgi Dash is a fun, play-to-earn game in which players dash over and under various obstacles to reach the Corgi House over six fast-paced and increasingly difficult levels. Each Dash costs 500 Corgi coins to enter, which are then redistributed into the Game Rewards wallets. There are 10,000 coins available across each Dash. If a player completes all six levels, their collected coins are added to their Stratis Wallet and can be traded on OPDEX.

Stratis enjoyed its first London meet-up

It was wonderful to see some new and familiar faces at the first Stratis meet-up at Tower Suites in London this month.

The meet-up included some incredible presentations from creators that have worked with Stratis to bring their projects to life, from the creator of The Astroverse and Dawn of Ships to developers from Kiqqi Games.

If you are interested in attending the next meet-up to discuss all things Stratis, blockchain, and NFTs, then join us at Tower Suites for our second event on 21st October. You can sign up for tickets here.

$STRAX is now listed on Bitpanda

This month, Stratis’ native $STRAX token was added to Bitpanda, one of Europe’s fastest-growing fintechs which allows users to trade and invest in stocks, cryptocurrencies, and more on its platform.

NDC Oslo

Recent Stratis Hackathon winner, Allister Beharry recently presented his Formal Verification of C# Smart Contracts at the event. Stratis is grateful to have great minds such as Allister interested in their platform, providing solutions such as Silver.

Allister’s presentation can be viewed in full here: https://github.com/allisterb/Silver/blob/master/notebooks/ndcoslo2022.ipynb

Binance AMA

Stratis collaborated with Binance to offer an AMA with Stratis CEO, Chris Trew. As expected, the AMA events always raise great questions and provide a fantastic opportunity to share information about Stratis to a wide audience.

The full AMA can be viewed below:

Question 1: Who is currently building on Stratis?

We have a wide range of companies building on the platform, ranging from established indie gaming studios developing gaming-focused NFT solutions to a fully decentralized exchange that enables users on the platform to trade in a completely decentralized manner. We have a really cool project currently building a metaverse, which reminds me of the Habbo Hotel. In this virtual chat room, you create your own avatar and interact with people all over the country and world. Check them out here: https://myxrgallery.com/.

Question 2. What are your thoughts on NFTs?

NFTs present a fantastic vehicle for a wide variety of use cases beyond art, from actual ownership of in-game items to NFTs being utilized as tickets or memberships for venues and events. We are also really focusing on working with traditional artists, offering workshops highlighting the benefits that NFTs can bring and how they can be created with ease.

My belief in NFTs has seen Stratis develop the first genuinely sustainable and commission-less NFT Platform, “Stratisphere”. You can check out NFTs that have already been listed and experience how easy it is to “Top-up” to purchase your favorite NFT!

We’re currently gearing up to make Stratisphere a known brand in the UK and within the NFT space. A huge brand awareness campaign will launch in London later this year, so keep your eyes peeled!

Question 3. Where can we meet Stratis team members?

We have a globally dispersed team of developers working on the platform; however, we pride ourselves on being a leading London-based blockchain platform. You will find Stratis’ team members attending many events in London weekly.

To further cement our position as a leading London-based blockchain platform, we will hold monthly events at an iconic venue overlooking the Tower of London. It’s a free event, so we encourage you to register and come along to meet the team, hear the speakers and enjoy some drinks/canapes!

Question 4. Which development at Stratis most excites you?

There have been lots of projects that have excited me over the years building in the space. Currently, though, I am genuinely most excited to watch our progress in our stablecoin (GBPT) offering. As recently announced, we are working alongside PwC to ensure regulatory compliance for our required registrations. The solution works with the existing OpenBanking standards ensuring compliance and simplified integration into any of the UK clearing banks we engage with. Additionally, PwC has committed to providing auditing services for the solution upon its deployment.

We could issue a stablecoin with our current technology. Still, we understand the importance of regulation. We know that this is required for any significant engagement relating to a digital banking currency.

Question 5. Can you stake or mine STRAX?

Absolutely, several options are available to those seeking passive income through staking or operating a Masternode. We have cold-staking options available for the more security-conscious token holders; additionally, we also provide token holders with the opportunity to operate a Masternode. According to stakingrewards.com, operating a Masternode currently offers a 35.56% return.

Masternodes produce blocks on our Smart Contract Sidechain and also play a role in voting for projects to receive funding to build on the platform. We take pride in knowing that our platform is secured by a genuinely distributed pool of masternodes. This ensures decentralized execution of contracts and enhanced security thanks to the trustless registration methods.

There is an active and supportive community surrounding Stratis and the projects building upon it. It truly is great to see.

Binance Community Questions

Question 1: When BSC interoperability? and how that affect current masternodes?

We will be rolling out BSC support for our interoperability platform soon, as part of this roll out we will be adding official support for Linux when hosting a masternode.

Question 2: STRAX Anonymous Team or Totally Public Team?

We are totally public and have been since day 1

Question 3: How long does the commission fee of 0% is going to stay?

The 0% fee will stay forever, we may however offer a more feature packed offering in future that is not 0%.

Question 4: Are you a BTC person or ETH person?

Both, I mined ETH when it was just a few dollars

Question 5: Do you have an estimated date for the release of the GBPT stable coin on Stratis blockchain?

Unfortunately, we cannot, but it will likely not be in 2022

Question 6: Currently NFT is developing and becoming a new innovation in the Blockchain world. However, many users still don’t understand about NFT. Do you have plans to educate about NFT to users outside of non-Crypto? What are the measures to increase awareness of your project in non-crypto space?

Great question, we see education as a critical part of raising the awareness of NFT’s and Stratis. Not only educating the end user but also businesses/artists/developers etc.

Question 7: What is the SDA?

Stratis Decentralised Accelerator. This is our decentralised fund that provides funding for innovative projects building on Stratis. A decentralised vote by the Stratis Masternodes is required to receive the funding
